On September 13, 2025, our community came together for a day of prayer, healing, fellowship, and connection at the K’STAR Community Gathering. Together, we honored the lives lost in the July 4th flooding, lifted up our first responders and heroes, and found strength in one another.
We are deeply grateful to the musicians, businesses, organizations, and volunteers who helped make the day possible, and to everyone who joined us in sharing a meal, connecting with resources, and standing together in hope.

EVENT CANCELLATION ANNOUNCEMENT:
With heavy hearts, K’STAR regrets to announce the cancellation of our 4th Annual 2025 Big Ta’Do Fundraiser. In the light of the devastating floods that have impacted Kerrville and the surrounding Hill Country, we have made the decision to pause this year’s event and instead focus our energy on community recovery. We plan to resume this family fun event in 2026.
In a true show of solidarity, our incredible sponsors — Flyin’ Diesel, Holloway Plumbing, and Kerrville Public Utility Board (KPUB) — have graciously allowed their sponsorships to be redirected as a donation to the Hill Country’s Community Foundation to directly support those affected by the recent disaster.
If you registered to participate in the event online, we will be contacting you soon to issue a reimbursement.
We are deeply grateful to everyone stepping up to support recovery efforts across Texas and beyond. A heartfelt thank you to the first responders, volunteers, and organizations working tirelessly to rescue, rebuild, and bring comfort during this trying time.
